Fanaddixx welcomes Brendan James
A world changing voice?

Yes, according to Carly Simon, that's exactly what Brendan has. While I hate to contradict a musical icon it's not Brendan James' voice that will change the world, it's his lyrics. Don't get me wrong, I adore Brendan's voice. It's soft and mellow and unlike the majority of music out there it is UNIQUE. He is also a fantastic pianist, which anyone who knows me knows is kinda my thing. But his lyrics are what really gets to me.
Brendan has found a way to say things I feel and think but have never found a way to express. His music runs the gamut of emotions; loss, pain, love, and joy. What I find most amazing is that his music makes me feel hopeful. In spite of what some of my friends think I am not an incurable optimist but after listening to Brendan James I feel very hopeful. Hopeful that in spite of bad choices we've all made in the past there is a different kind of love out there for each of us. Hopeful that in spite of our mistakes we can get IT right THIS time, whatever IT is. Hopeful that no matter how bad things get the sun will rise.
Some of you may already know his music and notice how I just used song titles to describe the hopeful things he makes me feel. Trite? Maybe, but the truth is that you can almost design a poster titled "Everything I learned about life I learned from Brendan James" and you would have nothing to be ashamed of. In fact I like that idea so much I just might do it....you know...in my spare time.
